About/Membership
Membership
At Sha'arei Shalom, we call our members Vision Bearers—because membership here means personally carrying the mission and vision of this community.
Vision Bearers
More than membership—a shared calling
Joining Sha'arei Shalom isn't about signing a roster. Vision Bearers are the people who own our mission—building a vibrant Messianic Jewish community that inspires ever-deepening relationships with the God of Israel, through Messiah Yeshua, by the power of the Ruach—and carry it forward together.
The Path In
The Vision Bearers class
We generally hold one Vision Bearers class each year. The class covers:
- ·Messianic Jewish history
- ·Theology and practice
- ·The vision and operation of our community
If you're new to Messianic Judaism, we encourage you to attend services and congregational events for about a year before enrolling. That season of participation lets you experience our community life firsthand—so that when you become a Vision Bearer, you know exactly what vision you're bearing.
Ready to learn more, or want to know when the next class begins? Reach out to the office at office@entershalom.org or (919) 388-3678.
